Rugged strength
The Tesla Cybertruck is an upcoming battery electric full-size pickup truck to be built by Tesla, Inc. First announced in November 2019, three models are expected to be offered, with EPA range estimates of 250–500 miles (400–800 km) and an estimated 0 to 60 mph time of 2.9–6.5 seconds, depending on the model. The manufacturer announced production of the first Cybertruck on July 15, but Musk doesn't expect mass production until 2024.
With the ability to pull near infinite mass and a towing capability of over 14,000 pounds, Cybertruck can perform in almost any extreme situation with ease.
Adaptive air suspension
Raise and lower suspension four inches in either direction for easy access to Cybertruck or the vault, while self-leveling capabilities adapt to any occasion and assist with every job.
Awesome Adaptability
From rugged to refined, Cybertruck is completely adaptable for your needs. Prepare for every experience with a versatile utilitarian design — including on-board power and compressed air.
VERSATILE UTILITY
BETTER UTILITY THAN A TRUCK WITH MORE PERFORMANCE THAN A SPORTS CAR
According to Musk, the design of the Cybertruck was inspired by Blade Runner and the Lotus Esprit driven by James Bond in The Spy Who Loved Me, which doubled as a submarine. The Cybertruck uses stressed skin construction (termed an "exoskeleton" by Tesla) like most modern aircraft, rather than the body-on-frame construction which is typical of trucks, as a standard vehicle frame would conflict with the under-floor battery pack.
Features of the Tesla Cybertruck
Tesla armor glass
Ultra-strong glass and polymer-layered composite can absorb and redirect impact force for improved performance and damage tolerance.
Exoskeleton
Cybertruck is built with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and passenger protection. Starting with a nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for superior strength and endurance, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel structural skin to Tesla armor glass.
Ultra-hard 30x cold-rolled stainless steel
If there was something better, we’d use it. Help eliminate dents, damage and long-term corrosion with a smooth monochrome exoskeleton that puts the shell on the outside of the car and provides you and your passengers maximum protection.
Unique body
Now entering a new class of strength, speed and versatility—only possible with an all-electric design. The powerful drivetrain and low center of gravity provides extraordinary traction control and torque—enabling acceleration from 0-60 mph in as little as 2.9 seconds and up to 500 miles of range.
