Overview

The British MG brand, now owned by China's SAIC, has introduced the Marvel R electric crossover in European specification. It is offered in several versions, the most powerful of which is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than five seconds, and the longest one travels more than 400 kilometers without recharging. In China, the model is known as the Roewe Marvel. It was released in 2018 and had time to update last year. The MG-branded version was going to be introduced back in spring, but there was a delay.

The Comfort and Luxury versions are equipped with two electric motors on the rear axle. In total, they produce 180 hp and 410 Nm. Acceleration to a hundred takes 7.9 seconds and the top speed is limited to 200 km/h. The top-end Performance variant adds a third electric motor at the front. The car has a function of giving the charge to external electric consumers. The model has two trunks: 357 liters in the back and another 150 liters under the hood.

The vertical multimedia display, similar to the one installed on the Tesla, is 19.4 inches diagonally. But the digital dashboard is of standard dimensions - 12.3 inches. The options include a combined interior trim, numerous active safety systems, and a premium Bose sound system.
